Had ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani for as a takeaway for a 10 person house party and we all were very impressed by the taste and presentation of the food! The perfectly cooked rice and chicken with flavorful masalas reminded of the taste back home! Thank you for the great food! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner at Sultans and it truly felt like a taste of Pakistan! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the beef kebab, daal, chicken curry, lamb curry, and Nihari — every dish was cooked perfectly and full of authentic taste. The parathas were huge, flaky, and mouth-watering, easily the best we’ve had in a long time. The drinks were also spot on — the mango lassi was refreshing and creamy, while the salty lassi had that traditional, comforting taste. On top of the great food, the hospitality made the evening even more special. The owner was very friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine served with warmth and care. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Tried this Pakistani place under the new management and chef — really impressed! We had the lamb curry (A$13), chicken curry (A$12), plain naan, garlic naan and Kadak Chai. Everything was fresh, flavourful and honestly very worth the price. Lamb curry was so good we finished it with just half a naan, then immediately ordered a chicken curry — also amazing! Naan was soft and tasty, and the chai was a perfect finish. The manager and chef were super friendly. Staff didn’t oversell at all — we asked if our order was enough for 2 and she just said we can always add later. Love the honesty. Food takes about 30–45 mins because they cook everything fresh. Regulars call ahead to save waiting time, so that’s a good tip. The restaurant was quite empty when we came in, but we still gave it a try — and we’re glad we did! Great food, great people. Will definitely return.

Such a rich and unique dining experience like no other! I came in here for a late night feed. I wasn't expecting anything, but this place has caught me by surprise with its quality, humble kindness, and patience. My introduction at the door was a notice that welcomed people with providing free meals who are facing financial hardships. How generous, compassionate, and understanding! The pricing on the food is reasonable and affordable too. It didn't take long, but it can, depending on what you order as they are home made with proper quality and care. Food is like no other that I've had. It was very "warm", comforting, and rich in its taste. The balance was just right with all the ingredients. There was a lot of detail that went into it, and so unique too. I will definitely be coming back here again and introducing this to others. Highly recommended. Give this a go, you will definitely not forget this place either with its warm, friendly, patient, and generous staff!

Recently, myself, my brother and father visited this restaurant situated close to our residence at the time, the visual appearance from the outside is very attracting as it contains clear-well though signage, utilising led lights to attract customers. As we entered the restaurant we were instantly welcomed by the kind and friendly owner, he showed us to our table and we were given time to order our food, we shared the restaurant with a small group of people and found that the restaurant had a strong atmosphere and welcoming feel. When we eventually ordered our food the server was very helpful in what he recommended and the sizes of the food that would be ideal for our group. We ordered two lamb curry dishes and the chicken 65, along with the keemah naan, garlic naan and mango lassi jug. The food took a reasonable amount of time to arrive as it was starting to get busy and we had a reasonably large order for that time of night. The food eventually arrived and we found that the naan bread was extremely fresh and fluffy, whilst maintaining a crisp and crunchy exterior. The lamb curries do come with bones in, (so do be careful when eating these items”. The meat was tender and had a great meat to curry ratio, usually 6-8 large pieces of meat in the large curry. The spice level was decent and did provide a quite enjoyable mouth feel. The flavour was amazing and clearly the food was made with care and passion. The mango lassi was cold and creamy, with a slightly sour zing that added to the flavour. The chicken 65 was a favourite amongst my family and the keemah naan was delicious, a favourite! To conclude this review the price was extremely surprising for us, (in a good way) as it was only $70 for all of our food, which sufficiently fed 3 average sized males. This price was surprising for us as at other restaurants you would be expecting to pay $70 for 2 main courses that often have lower quality food than this restaurant! When in Brunswick I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant, giving it a try and see if it’s your cup of tea! Will definetly be back in the future, thank you!

Sultan Restaurant Brunswick is under new Management, it is now without question a gold standard for dining. Every single aspect of our visit was 100% perfect, from the impeccable, attentive service to the absolutely outstanding food. The Chicken Paratha was a true highlight, perfectly executed and bursting with flavour. The atmosphere was also pitch-perfect, making the entire evening an effortless, five-star experience. If you are looking for a flawless meal where the staff, ambiance, and cuisine are all operating at the highest level, this is the place to go. Best customer service received from Saqib & Beloved GM, I highly recommend it!

Under new management they are acing in everything! You can't find such great taste and variety of Paki Food in that economical budget round this area. Highly Recommended P.S. Boys over the counter are super cordial and generous.

Just tried the Desi Murgh Shorba at Sultan Restaurant in Brunswick and it was honestly amazing. The broth was rich, comforting and full of real desi flavours — not watered down at all. The chicken was tender, the spices were balanced perfectly, and it had that proper home-style warmth you expect from a good shorba.
